Yiwu's market operating entities have exceeded 1 million households

  On August 16th, with Tuma Enesh, the general manager of Yiwu jintai Trading Co., Ltd., taking over the business license from the main person in charge of the Yiwu Municipal Government, Yiwu's millionth market operating entity was born. According to data from the Zhejiang Provincial Administration for Market Regulation, Yiwu has become the first county-level city in Zhejiang Province to have more than one million market operating entities, with the number of market operating entities accounting for one tenth of the province's total.

  Yiwu jintai Trade Co., Ltd. is a foreign-invested enterprise, with two shareholders, Xu Hangfei, a Chinese, and Tuma Enesh, a Turkish. Enesh has been doing business in Yiwu for 9 years, and the new company established this time will mainly engage in cross-border clothing trade. "It only took one day from submitting application materials to obtaining a business license, it's really easy to apply for a license in Yiwu!" said Enesh.

 Yiwu has abundant foreign resources, and the cultivation of foreign business entities has become a major feature of Yiwu. In order to accelerate the recovery of local foreign trade, Yiwu implemented 10 new measures to optimize the international business environment and provide foreign-related services in early 2023, accelerating the growth of foreign business entities. Since the beginning of this year, there have been 832 newly established foreign-funded business entities in Yiwu, a year-on-year increase of 170.13%.

  In recent years, Yiwu has seized new opportunities in global digital trade and promoted the integrated development of "import and export, online and offline, domestic and overseas". The growth rate of e-commerce operators has been rapid, becoming a new trend in the growth of Yiwu's market operators. At present, there are 556900 e-commerce operators in Yiwu, accounting for one-third of the e-commerce operators in Zhejiang Province.
